VOYAGER OFFERS / SERVICES
VOYAGER PACS (PICTURE ARCHIVING AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
Voyager PACS is a web-enabled, server-based system that provides access to medical images for any patient, accessible by any doctor, anytime, anywhere. It offers image archiving, soft copy reporting, management, and distribution functionalities.
The system receives images from various modalities or other sources (e.g., Teleradiology) via DICOM and stores them on the PACS server or attached storage devices. These studies can then be viewed, reported, and manipulated using Voyager Diagnostic workstations connected to the PACS server through LAN, WAN, or Internet connections.
Voyager Integrator facilitates seamless interfacing with the Radiology Information System (RIS) via HL7, enabling the exchange and sharing of information between Voyager PACS and the RIS.
VOYAGER RIS (RADIOLOGY INFORMATION SYSTEM)
RIS (Radiology Information System) is a specialized software used in radiology departments to manage and organize the workflow of medical imaging. It supports various functions such as patient registration, scheduling, tracking, reporting, and image tracking. RIS integrates with other medical systems like PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of radiological services.
Voyager’s primary goal in developing Voyager RIS has been to deliver a system that is both flexible and highly functional for clients. Voyager RIS ensures seamless integration and interaction with other software products. It has been meticulously designed to meet all the specific needs of radiology practices.
VOYAGER TELERAD
The Voyager Telerad system is designed to accept images from DICOM modalities or film digitizers. Additionally, it offers optional frame-grab DICOM bridge functions for non-DICOM modalities. Voyager Telerad enables both film and document scanning on the same station, simplifying workflow, reducing costs, and enhancing efficiency.
Users can view and manipulate acquired images within Voyager Telerad. These images can be stored locally or sent to another location for radiologist reporting or clinical user review. Image transmission can occur via dial-up, LAN, WAN, or the Internet, with options for compression to minimize transmission time and reduce bandwidth usage.
Voyager Telerad also provides advanced database options for long-term image storage. Configurable user worklists and advanced search functions allow users to easily access any stored study.
IMAGE AND REPORT DISTRIBUTION
Voyager Imaging employs standards-based integration techniques to seamlessly integrate with patient management systems, HIS, EMR, and electronic report distributors like Healthlink. Reports can embed URLs, granting authorized users access to key images or entire studies.
In response to the evolving healthcare landscape, Voyager Imaging supports mobile access on devices such as iPads and iPhones. It also ensures web browser-agnostic access to images and reports through the advanced Voyager Zero Footprint viewer, ensuring clinicians can confidently use various technologies and systems.
