Ubiquiti
Ubiquiti UniFi is the cloud-managed networking platform Trucell deploys for Australian organisations that want a practical middle path between consumer Wi-Fi and enterprise vendors like Cisco Meraki or Fortinet, with a single-pane-of-glass operating model that scales from a single clinic to a 20-site group.
The UniFi platforms we design and run: UniFi Access Points (U6, U7, In-Wall, and Long-Range models) for office, clinic, warehouse, and outdoor coverage; UniFi Switches (USW Lite, USW Pro, USW Enterprise) for access and aggregation; UniFi Gateways (UXG, UDM-Pro, UDM-Pro Max) for routing, IDS/IPS, and VPN; UniFi Doors and UniFi Access for physical access control where the customer wants that integrated; UniFi Protect for IP-camera surveillance where the use case fits.
Trucell does the engineering work that turns a UniFi quote into a stable run-state: site survey and channel planning before AP placement, VLAN and SSID design that maps to your business segmentation (corporate, guest, IoT, surgical-modality networks), 802.1X with RADIUS where identity-bound access is required, firmware baseline planning, monitoring through UniFi Network Cloud or self-hosted Network Application, and integration with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID for guest portal SSO.
UniFi sits inside the rest of the managed estate at Trucell: identity on Entra ID, security on Fortinet or Palo Alto where the perimeter is a stronger platform than UniFi gateway alone, endpoint operations on NinjaOne, and ISO 27001:2022 governed run-state. We run UniFi where the operating model fits; we recommend stepping up to Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet where the security tender, sector requirement, or scale calls for it.
