Diagnostic monitors
Diagnostic monitors are the primary-read displays radiologists use to interpret medical imaging studies. Unlike general-purpose office monitors, diagnostic-class displays meet the specifications regulatory frameworks and clinical professional bodies expect for primary diagnostic reporting: calibrated grayscale curves (DICOM GSDF compliance), uniformity correction across the panel, integrated front-of-screen luminance sensors for ongoing quality assurance, and brightness floors high enough to keep low-contrast lesions visible across an eight-hour reading session.
Trucell specifies and deploys diagnostic monitors across two primary vendor lines: LG Medical Solutions (the default path for new and mixed fleets in Australian Health: stock, partner pricing, NSW Health Standing Offer alignment where applicable) and EIZO RadiForce (for sites already standardised on EIZO and not looking to churn the calibration estate). Common diagnostic-class panels we deploy include 2MP general radiology, 3MP general radiology, 5MP for routine mammography review and high-detail studies, 6MP multi-modality, and 12MP mammography-specific for primary-read tomosynthesis reporting.
What Trucell does beyond panel selection: room-matched specification (single-head vs dual-head, colour vs grayscale, primary-read vs review classification), calibration software setup (LG Calibration Studio, EIZO RadiCS), QA cadence design aligned to RANZCR and ACPSEM guidance, integration with PACS thick clients (Sectra, Visage, IntelePACS, INFINITT, ClariRad, Voyager) so window-level presets and hanging protocols ride on the right display, workstation graphics-card pairing (NVIDIA RTX-series, AMD W-series) so the dual-DisplayPort feed actually drives the panel at full bit depth, and refresh planning so the calibration estate replaces in waves rather than collapsing under one capex event.
